William J. Maston
Bill Maston is a local licensed architect who has lived in the Mountain View and Los Altos area for over 50 years. He is the Principal of William Maston Architect & Associates, a firm that specializes in single family residential, select multi-family residential and select commercial retail projects. Bill also has a strong background in site design and master plan projects. This background has proved very effective in designing complicated hillside projects, planned unit developments and site-specific master plans. Mr. Maston’s primary focus still remains in the single family residence, new construction and remodel areas.
Bill holds architectural licenses in California (1987), Nevada (1989) and is registered with the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) since 1989.
Bill has been actively involved in the community since opening his office in 1989. His involvement includes:

Bill’s involvement in these community service efforts has not only given him strong connections in the community, but provided him with a clear understanding of what is necessary to build consensus on City planning and zoning issues as well as fashioning visions for each community’s future. These principles are applied to individual client projects as well.
Yvonne Dominguez
Yvonne is a Project Coordinator at William Maston Architect & Associates who started on contract and became an employee in Fall of 2007. She brings knowledge of business management and financial capacities which were groomed and sharpened by 7 years in the non-profit sector and formative years in marketing and tradeshow production. Currently, Yvonne acts as liaison between the Principal and Fijian Staff on the Fiji Project and as direct liaison between staff and the Principal as internal project management/coordination. Multi-tasking, problem solving, and the ability to learn are among the many strengths Yvonne brings to the team. In her free time, she is a performing company member of a Mexican folkdance company, which is based in Santa Cruz: Xochipilli Compañia de Danza Mexicana. Yvonne also stays active with running and bikram yoga and enjoys music of all kinds, culture, food and performing arts.
Margot Gardias
Margot is a Project Manager and AutoCAD Specialist at William Maston Architect and Associates since May 2008 and has worked in the architectural field since 1988. After graduating with a Master of Architecture degree from Bialystok Polytechnic University, Poland she attended a scholarship program in Milano, Italy and was accepted for a PhD program with Polytechnic in Weimar, Germany. Family decisions moved her from Europe to USA; first to NY and later to Silicon Valley, CA. Margot’s professional experience is based on a variety of projects in her architectural portfolio: high end residences, restaurants and stores in Manhattan; residential, commercial, tenant improvement projects and schools (K12) in California; churches, multi-use developments and urban planning (city development plans) in Europe. Her European background and strong training in engineering and art allows her to approach every design challenge with unique professional skills.
Mehran Ghaffari
Mehran is a Project Manager and AutoCAD Specialist at William Maston Architect & Associates. He received his Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Art degrees from the University of Frankfurt in Germany. From 1986 to 1988 he worked at Ostro Plan in Stuttgart and Peter Almang in Frankfurt. He moved to California in 1988. Mehran’s variety of experiences includes both residential and commercial projects. Before joining William Maston Architect & Associates he worked at WRD Architects in Monterey, California. His experience includes, but is not limited to: custom homes, multi units, apartments, restaurants, dental/medical office, shopping centers and educational institutions. In his free time, Mehran is an active marathon runner.
Nataliya Khodorovskaya
Nataliya has been an AutoCAD Specialist at William Maston Architect & Associates responsible for drafting, design and presentation since March 2000. She graduated from Saint Petersburg State University, School of Architecture in Russia and was awarded a First Degree Diploma at International Competition of Graduation Projects and Graduation Dissertations in Architecture. She has had experience in the design and preparation of construction documents for reconstruction and restoration of historical buildings, monuments and bridges and has also worked on interior design projects in residential and commercial buildings. Nataliya is interested in the history of architecture and enjoys reading, hiking and dancing.
Carrie Lee Mohun
Carrie Lee is a Designer at William Maston Architect & Associates and has been with the firm since 2001. She works closely with our architects to further perfect the interior spaces once the building envelope has been designed. From there she works intimately with our clients from the beginning stage down to the final detail before moving in. She is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and is working toward her certification as a Certified Kitchen and Bath Specialist.
Greg Palesse
Greg is a Project Manager and AutoCAD Specialist at William Maston Architect & Associates and has worked at the company since April 2000. In addition to his architectural skills, he also serves as the company’s in-house computer technician. As a Project Manager, Greg has over 7 years of field experience and continues to develop his skills in design. He is currently responsible for the coordination and development of working drawings for single-family homes and multi-family projects. Greg’s interest in architecture began in high school where he took numerous classes in architectural design. He received high honors in his architectural studies and earned an advanced certificate in Computer Aided Design.
